As part of an official celebration, maxit opened its new branch in Dachau, Upper Bavaria, on Friday 2 October 2026. In future, this branch will enable maxit to supply the Munich metropolitan region and its surrounding areas with its products even more directly and comprehensively.
The search for a suitable commercial property began as early as autumn 2025. Shortly before that, the acquisition of Saint-Gobain Weber’s dry mortar division had been finalised – since then, the maxit Group has been represented by 18 sites across Germany. Dachau now adds a strategically important 19th branch to the network.
The branch on Hans-Böckler-Straße combines modern storage facilities, a prestigious shop and showroom, and a field sales office with a meeting room. “This enables us to create a location that is equally attractive to customers, partners and staff. In this way, we are establishing the operational base needed to reliably serve one of Germany’s strongest economic regions with the highest level of product expertise,” explains Managing Director Sebastian Groppweis.
