m-tec has sustainably revolutionised the silo market with its pocket system, developed for the dry mortar industry, and has become the market leader in the conveying silo sector.

Since the company was founded in 1988, m-tec has brought approx. 50,000 silos, varying in type, to the market. Long-term experience, expertise and modern CAD technology have enabled m-tec to also put individual customer wishes into practice both in a worthwhile and practical manner. The standard supply programme contains small silos, conveying silos (chain, pocket, hook-lift support systems) and stationary silos.
In order to fulfil the most diverse customer requirements, all silo types are available in numerous pressure variants (e.g. 0, 1, 2 and 6 bar).

The silos are painted, pursuant to the most up-to-date VOC Directive, in environmentally-friendly, unique production plants (for the silo sector) at all European production facilities. During all of the production processes, examinations take place in accordance with the EN ISO 9001 2000 quality guidelines.

Silo delivery
Silo delivery generally occurs by lorry. piccolos can be easily moved and/or implemented using a forklift or crane.

Material delivery
piccolos are filled and delivered in substitution to the construction site as they are designed for small volumes. No refills.

The operator can only place the silo on a sufficiently secure location.
The location must be compliantly prepared to the driver’s instructions.

Material delivery
Refilling of the silo can only take place in accordance with the customer’s order between a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 27t.
To fill the silo, the feed vehicle must be able to drive within at least 15m to the silo.
If the silo is deeper than the lorry, this distance can be decreased by approx. 10m.
The silo can only be relocated with a crane if it is completely empty and free of pressure.
When doing this it must be ensured that both of the upper inlet pockets are positioned in the direction of access for the silo placing unit.
