Bavarian Minister of State Ilse Aigner presented Managing Partner Hans-Dieter Groppweis with the coveted award in July 2014 at the Munich Residence.

The award was given to 50 Bavarian companies that have proven to be particularly strong in growth and have been able to increase the number of their employees and company turnover above average. "Without the work of small and medium-sized enterprises, the dynamism and innovative strength of the Bavarian economy would be inconceivable," said Aigner. "Almost 40 per cent of the total taxable turnover achieved in Bavaria is generated by small and medium-sized enterprises. SMEs create jobs and are the basis for the high standard of living in Bavaria."
