Cavity-free insulation in surface quality Q2
After completion of the remaining finishing measures (drywall, screed, etc.), the surface area was covered with maxit ip 315 purcalc, a lime thin-layer plaster in surface quality Q2, and coated with a highly diffusion-open coat of maxit kreasil 5020 interior silicate paint.
The timber-framed farm building was to be energy-efficiently upgraded for conversion into a residential building. Due to the structural conditions around the wooden frame on the outside, which is worth protecting, the building had to be insulated on the inside. The substrate consisted of a mixed masonry with pumice, sandstone and the timber frame. Due to the very large unevenness and break-outs of the substrate, interior insulation on a board basis proved to be too costly.
In contrast to traditional board solutions, maxit eco 71 was applied by spraying. On the one hand, this ensured a gapless application, and on the other hand, it eliminated the risk of cavities forming. In this way, waterlogging and mould formation are prevented and the air in the interior is kept permanently healthy for living. In addition, the application of maxit ecosphere made it possible to completely eliminate the need to level out small and medium unevennesses in the substrate. Larger unevennesses in the masonry were thrown out in advance with maxit therm 76, a heat-insulating base coat.
Afterwards, an adhesive filler with maxit eco 70 bonding agent was applied in a net shape (60 - 70 % coverage). The timber frame was decoupled in accordance with the WTA bulletin (Wissenschaftlich-Technische Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Bauwerkserhaltung und Denkmalpflege) and covered with a vapour diffusion-open glass fleece. A plaster base (Welnet) was then applied over the entire surface. After setting the plaster gauges, the sprayable insulation maxit eco 71 was applied in several layers "wet in wet" and the surface was planed over the entire area after partial drying. After reaching the maximum residual moisture of 75 digits, the special primer maxit prim eco 1170 was applied and then a fabric filler was applied with maxit eco 73 reinforcement filler and maxit reinforcement fabric 8 x 8.
