Client from Nuremberg relies on maxit for project development
In Nuremberg's Marthastraße, 62 barrier-free residential units were built by the Rost Group. The company Feulner & Streiter from Erlangen was particularly involved in the extensive construction process and, as a long-standing maxit customer, was entrusted with the screed and coating work.
In the property in Nuremberg's Marthastraße, 62 residential units with upscale comfort were to be realised. Furthermore, the project features a day care centre, a kindergarten and underground parking spaces. This good residential complex placed high demands on construction quality and execution, especially in the execution around screed and coating. The company Feulner & Streiter from Erlangen took on this challenge as a long-standing maxit customer. In total, more than 500 t of high-quality flowing screed maxit plan 490 had to be applied.
For both the executing company and maxit, this project was an excellent opportunity to convince the building owner of maxit's capabilities; both in terms of product quality and professional advice.
From this cooperation, an active partnership developed between the client, the company carrying out the work and maxit as the supplier, which resulted in the implementation of further construction measures. There, for example, an underground car park coating in accordance with OS 8 was carried out for the first time on a Rost property using mineral coating systems from maxit. Here, the raw concrete was shot-blasted, primed twice with maxit floor 4712 and sealed. This was followed by the professional installation of maxit floor 4610 from the silo with the EMP silo mixing pump.
